Super good aromatics, love it - kinda like a Gamay nose - raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, hints of bubblegum and herbs. Medium body with juicy acid and light alcohol. Medium (+) finish. Nose has an almost overpowering banana note (natural yeasts I guess) to go along with red apple skins and clove spice. Palate is more red apples, strawberry jam and tons of acidity and minerality to keep you coming back for more. This is perhaps a wine that you need to be in the mood for to enjoy but I am in the mood today so bravo! (265 views) |
