Dry, medium(+) acidity supporting the elegant rich mousse experience of this medium body champagne during the long toasty finish. Very nice indeed.

(1842 views)
Tasted by FrancoisC on 7/28/2019 & rated 90 points: Ne pas servir trop froid. (1356 views)
Tasted by MaJeKu on 4/14/2019 & rated 89 points: In der Nase zunächst etwas verhalten, dann aber kommen rote Früchte durch. Am Gaumen sehr elegant, schönes Mousseux, schöne Säure. (1364 views)
Tasted by rossi.wine on 11/20/2018 & rated 89 points: Soft, notes of red fruit, brioche, almonds. Quite rich and mellow, bright finish. 88-90 (1835 views)
 Tasted by Avicenne on 10/30/2018 & rated 87 points: SAQ N° 10845883 54$

(2037 views)
Tasted by The Drunken Cyclist on 6/3/2018 & rated 93 points: Retail $80. 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay. It was late. We were playing Trivial Pursuit. We were losing. I needed sustenance. I disappeared. I re-emerged with this. Whoa. Fairly dark as a Rosé, more Coho than Atlantic with caramel a go-go on the nose, along with baked strawberry pie and just a hint of rhubarb. On the palate, really rich, surprising since this is from the Aube region of Champagne, which is not particularly known (yet?) for its rich, cerebral wines. Depth, tartness, verve. Whoa. Oh, and we came back and won the game. At least that is how I am choosing to remember it. thedrunkencyclist.com (1825 views)
Tasted by Hanibal on 12/30/2017 & rated 90 points: The color is dark salmon (very close to wild caught salmon). The bubbles are small and continuous. The smell is on strawberries flowers and some spice. On the palate acidity is high, sugar is dry. A Medium body champ. The taste is on red fruit strawberries cranberries with flowers. It went well very with hors d'oeuvres. I think it needs food to work its magic. (2526 views)
Tasted by Trickyone on 12/1/2017: Tried this on a whim, and I'm very glad that I paired it with food (panko crusted salmon). With the salmon, not only did the color match pretty well but the heavier fish with the breaded crust matched with the relative weight of the wine. Once the fish was gone and the wine was on its own, it seemed a little clumsy, top-heavy or just a little off. Champagne, whether Brut, Rose', Demi-Sec or whatever is all about balance and finesse to me. This one seemed to lack enough acidity to balance the fruit flavors. It was far from the worst bubbly I've ever had, but it's also an experiment that will not be repeated. (1794 views)
Tasted by isaacjamesbaker on 9/30/2016 & rated 87 points: Bright strawberry/copper color. Smells of red apples, strawberries, kumquat and some biscuits and chalk. Crisp and tingly on the palate with flavors of red apples, white cherries and strawberries. Notes of white flowers, chalk and shell add some moderate complexity. Light and refreshing. Not too complex or deep but it's straightforward, good stuff that's put together well. (2910 views)
Tasted by Sonoffalstaff on 7/10/2016 & rated 92 points: Probably,y my favourite champers. Lovely strawberry flavour. Perfect balance of acidity and fruit. Better than LAurent Perrier rose and spend v similar to Bollinger grand Annee vintage. (2747 views)

France - When it comes to wine, France stands alone. No other country can beat it in terms of consistent quality and diversity. And while many of its Region, Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne most obviously, produce wine as rare, as sought-after and nearly as expensive as gold, there are just as many obscurities and values to be had from little known appellations throughout the country. To learn everything there is to know about French wine would take a lifetime. To understand and appreciate French wine, one only has to begin tasting them. Sub-Region:

Champagne - The French region of Champagne (including the cities of Rheims, Épernay, and Aÿ) was the first region in the world to make sparkling wine in any quantity. Today, the name of the region is synonymous with the finest of all sparkling wines, and wine-making traditions of Champagne have become role models for sparkling wine producers, worldwide. Surprisingly, the region of Champagne is now responsible for only one bottle in 12 of all sparkling wine produced. Styles of champagne range in sweetness ranging from an extra brut or brut 0, to the basic brut to demi sec to doux; some houses produce single vintage champagnes and others produce non-vintage (or incorporate wines/grapes of multiple vintages), often to preserve a specific taste; combinations of grape varietals; and colors, including a rosé. There are several sub-appellations, including the Valley of the Marnes river running from Épernay west, Massif de Saint-Thierry north and west of Rheims, Valley of the Ardre, the Mountains of Rheims (between Rheims and Épernay), Côte des Blancs, Côte de Sézanne, and Côte des Bar in the South. Champagne wine only uses three grape varietals (cépages): Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
