Tasted by Stephen.Somm on 11/8/2021 & rated 84 points: I have enjoyed Raymond wines in the past, particularly their Cabs, and I realize this is a value offering....but this wine is an unqualified disappointment. Tastes like another sub-$10 vanilla-laden grocery store California red blend. I am surprised that Raymond would release this wine with their name on it. They should have sold it to Trader Joe's en masse. (620 views)
Tasted by AnytimeWineTime on 6/25/2021 & rated 90 points: Better than expected and the QPR is spot on (701 views)
Tasted by djrobsd on 12/23/2020 & rated 88 points: A solid daily drinker you can’t beat the price. (787 views)
Tasted by khaleesi75 on 11/12/2020 & rated 89 points: Really smelled the cherries upon opening. Was impressed by how well rounded this wine was with fruit and pepper. My husband doesn't like dry reds, and he also enjoyed this. Great wine for the price. Im planning to pick up some more! (897 views)

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
