These wines do definitely need time and the 06 was stellar. This 2016 is much too young, so hang on to any bottles for another decade. A beautiful example of Loire Cab Franc (635 views) | | | Tasted by glou.sf on 3/15/2021 & rated 94 points: Tasted blind. Very pretty nose of dark fruit, black cherries, and violets. More dark berry flavors, some herbal notes, and lots of tannins on the palate. Similar to the 2015, this is not heavy at all and has nice acidity to carry the wine. Long finish.
