Community Tasting History

Tasted by DonDon on 6/9/2021 & rated 92 points: I'm not very familiar with Loire reds but helped put that right with a stellar line up of Pallus 16, 11 and 06 as well as Clos Rougeaurd 13 and 09. These wines do definitely need time and the 06 was stellar. This 2016 is much too young, so hang on to any bottles for another decade. This has lovely freshness and some violets on the nose, good tannin and a darker fruit profile. (607 views)

A beautiful example of Loire Cab Franc (635 views)
Tasted by glou.sf on 3/15/2021 & rated 94 points: Tasted blind. Very pretty nose of dark fruit, black cherries, and violets. More dark berry flavors, some herbal notes, and lots of tannins on the palate. Similar to the 2015, this is not heavy at all and has nice acidity to carry the wine. Long finish. This is super promising but probably needs a good 10 years. 94++ (692 views)
