Tasted by Odedis.Wine.reviews on 10/1/2021 & rated 88 points: This is an interesting red from Arizona. Feels like a southern Italian red.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Showing black fruits with earth, light wood, spices, dark chocolates, earth, cooked strawberries, crushed cucumber, sweet red candy, vegetables, herbs and tobacco leaf.

Good right out of the bottle and better with food.

Tangy and interesting. I enjoyed the nose better than the palate.

Tasted by isaacjamesbaker on 6/20/2021 & rated 88 points: Bunch of Samples: Vibrant ruby color. Aromas of smoky plums, cherries and currants, with notes of creosote, warm clay, tobacco and violets. Full and chewy on the palate with deep plums, cherries and red currant jam. Medium-low acid, but enough for balance. Notes of menthol, pepper, scorched earth, clay and earth. Yummy stuff, Graciano does good things in Arizona. (325 views)
Tasted by Odedis.Wine.reviews on 6/1/2021 & rated 87 points: Inky in color with a short purplish rim.

Strong nose of black currants, black plums, cherries, earth, light oak, vanilla, licorice, Indian spices, turmeric, curcumin, chocolates, pencil lead and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and fat legs.

Dry on the palate with sour cherries, red currants, bitter chocolates, light wood, spices, dark coffee, vegetables, herbs, peppercorn and alcohol.

Short finish with fine tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very interesting red wine from Arizona. Still young and a little hot, but I enjoyed the fruity nose.

Good right out of the bottle and feels like a bolder Southern Italy red.

A good food wine that I paired with cheeses and meats. Will pair nicely with pizza.

ARIDUS

Producer website

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.
