Tasted by jwsobeck on 6/9/2008 & rated 80 points: i will echo the 80 that someone else gave. i've never had a vouvray so maybe this is what they are like, but it was wayyy to sweet and out of balance for me. (2022 views)
Tasted by Sijan on 2/24/2008 & rated 88 points: Quite pleasant and enjoyable, semi-sweet. Mild fruit nectar notes. (3028 views)
Tasted by klybly on 2/19/2008: Way too sweet for my taste, last vintage was much drier. (2796 views)
Tasted by Combee1 on 12/21/2007 & rated 88 points: Two more bottles since the first. Downgrading my initial rating. I still think this is a tasty wine. However, I found that over time the residual sugars in this wine can be a little much. Still nice complexity and mouthfeel. Still a solid QPR. B. (2980 views)
Tasted by Combee1 on 10/17/2007 & rated 89 points: First ever taste of French Chenin Blanc. Thick and golden in glass. Nose of quince, honey and nuts. Very viscous and weighty mouthfeel. Full and juicy on the pallet with a somewhat short finish. Nice balance of semi-dry (residual sugar?) fruit and lingering acidity/minerality on finish. Overall, very enjoyable. Will buy again.
