Community Tasting History

Community Tasting Notes (average 87 pts. and median of 88 pts. in 4 notes) - hiding notes with no text

Tasted by cobbpa on 8/5/2022 & rated 88 points: I really enjoyed this. Blanched almonds, a touch of lemon pith, and occasional dried florals & white tea show themselves. Nectarine & orchard fruits are lush, giving to the med+ body. Went great with salmon pizza (374 views)
Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 7/19/2022: Not much on the nose, maybe just a touch of banana? Ahh, an unusual combination of Clariette and Bourboulenc. A kinda crushed apple on the nose but fairly faint. Different. More flush on the palate and full. (520 views)
Tasted by madvulture on 6/5/2022 & rated 90 points: Really good for the money - sort of a foot in the door to higher quality Rhône whites. Macadamia, honeycomb, white peach with a nice acidic backbone. Some bitterness on the back end separates it from the top end stuff, but for the price very nice. (399 views)
Tasted by SH Wu on 4/9/2022 & rated 83 points: Decent wine - white stone fruits fill the palate, but some gritty acidity grinds through the back of the palate to the finish.

Worked well with some cod with eggplant and a sweet miso glaze. This food pairing really hid the difficulty created from the acidity when drank alone. (483 views)
