Overall this is more savory and sagebrush than fruity. Not bad, but not something I'd reach for again. The wine definitely is well structured, and maybe there some kind of Mission grape hiding in there. Whatever the case, it was a little goofy at first but ultimately an enjoyable Turley Zin with the typical fine balance on display. I expect this will be better in 3-5 years. The fruit was not a highlight, but the structure, balance, and length and acidity were all aligned.
