Tasted by brad_m_smith_20 on 2/9/2024 & rated 93 points: Great wine - still tastes youthful. Would be fun to see it in a few years. Big fruit - plum and dark cherry. But not jammy like many zinfandels. Just a touch of earthiness and pepper on the back end. Great wine, great with a nice steak. (264 views)
Tasted by JT4 on 8/4/2023: Good Napa Valley zinfandel (736 views)
Tasted by Brahning on 5/5/2023 & rated 88 points: Good jam and fruit. Maybe a little too high alcohol, but pretty fun zin. (816 views)
Tasted by Kashvino on 2/20/2023 & rated 93 points: Deep Ruby in complexion, hints of graphite, raspberry, blueberry and fennel seed. The palate is smooth, well balanced acidity, medium body, dry yet has the characteristics of a Zinfandel. The tannins are very well integrated and the finish is lengthy. (947 views)
Tasted by isaacjamesbaker on 7/2/2022 & rated 91 points: Vibrant purple color. Super jammy and lush on the nose with inviting raspberry, strawberry, with red licorice, rose and violet petals, nuances of savory pepper and leather with clove and warm black tea. The palate is suave and juicy with smooth tannins and plenty of tart wild raspberry with mulled blackberry fruit. The mesquite, tobacco and sage elements add a lot of nuance. Any grilled meats or veg, this beckons. Vibrant, spicy, delicious. (1306 views)
Tasted by LMArcher on 6/14/2022: Dark garnet-black robe.
Savory, aromatic , dusty raspberry and cocoa notes(Rutherford Dust).
Light body, ethereal tannins, sublime finish. Exceptional quality to value. (996 views)

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
