Tasted by MrD on 2/13/2024: OMG! I think I might be turning into a white wine fan! So often I don't like Sauvignon Blanc but this is delicious! (1751 views)
Tasted by Tonythefish on 2/11/2024 & rated 94 points: Tart apples and citrus come through on the front end. Really beautiful white wine with no oak, which makes it very approachable. Very nice crisp finish that leaves you wanting more. Enjoyed with spicy Thai food and had plenty of backbone to handle spice at its early age (1697 views)
Tasted by nrjessup on 2/10/2024 & rated 93 points: Fuji apple and white peach on the nose with a really strong and lengthy aroma. Punches like a first class Chardonnay without the oak but with similar mouthfeel and finish. Bright acidity with a balanced tartness that lingers for a medium finish. Always open and wished I had ordered more.
Outstanding. (1511 views)
Tasted by jsmorris707 on 2/4/2024 & rated 94 points: PNP, Pineapple, mango & some grass; delicious, drink or hold (1725 views)
Tasted by Somm David T on 1/27/2024 & rated 93 points: They greet you at their new tasting room on Pritchard Hill (formerly Nine Suns) with their Sauvignon Blanc. Full disclosure, I am not the biggest champion of SB. But, this is very nice.

This is the only one I didn’t take realtime notes on. Classic New World SB. The body is a little gluey, waxy, lemon, lime, tropical melons, pineapple, some presence of dry cut hay/grass, soft minerality, good viscosity, yellow flowers, nice acidy and well polished finish.

Tasted at the estate Pritchard Hill (1711 views)
Tasted by Agunner23 on 1/3/2024 & rated 94 points: What a great Sauvignon Blanc, very smooth and not acidic. Great fresh citrus with out it being overbearing. I tried a little bit after pulling from my wine fridge at 55º and it was pretty good. decanted the rest in the regular refrigerator for a couple of hours and it did not last long, sad I did not order more during the allocation period.  Tasted by carendt on 1/1/2024 & rated 95 points: Beautiful pairing at Cosme NYC. (1410 views)
Tasted by jviz on 12/16/2023 & rated 89 points: New release. The bottle is prettier than when I used to buy them but the wine to my palate nowhere near justifies its price. This tastes like a well made albeit somewhat generic SB. Light bodied, thankfully no oak overtones (in contrast with say Merry Edwards). It’s authentic to the variety, grassy, some pink grapefruit notes, but not a wine I’d ever pay more than $40-50 for and would rather drink Sancerre.. Dageneau is similarly priced.. (1251 views)
Tasted by nzinkgraf on 11/20/2023: generous peach palate.
Oak Barrel, Concrete Egg and Amphora used for aging.
definitely shows the concrete egg heft and roundness. not oaky, but some easy spice to the palate.
peaches and cream with more time open. has a rich S African SB-ishness about it.
Multiple passes/picks, all from Farella Vineyard in Coombsville. (1092 views)
Tasted by gymnastpro on 7/31/2023 & rated 94 points: Wasn't too happy with the price jump to 95 but this wine is killer. Definitely one of the best sauv blancs just behind Eisele. I love the blend they form for this one. Half from Coombsville and half from Gamble. The blend of the two really lends to a balanced, acidic, but lively wine. The fruit is in perfect balance and the lemon flavor isn't over the top like some SB's. Great wine and sad I only got 4 instead of 6! (1735 views)
Tasted by ***Monkeyboy*** on 7/8/2023 & rated 95 points: In the glass a pale yellow
On the nose it starts with grass, then lemon. Honeysuckle, pears, apples, ....we just sniffed and smelled for quite some time as it is just intoxicating......on the palate a bit of sweetness until the acidity kicks in with a long and lingering finish......what a beautiful wine
We will be having shrimp scampi with this and I'm sure it will be a lovely pairing
And it was....... (1300 views)
Tasted by BrunelloBob on 6/29/2023 & rated 95 points: Holy Cr4P!! Best white wine I've had in years. EVERYTHING almost Every Sauvignon Blanc has ever been. Literally a "Who's Who " of complexity with great/balamced acidity and minute plus length. Lemon, lime, green apple. Big gooseberry, asparagus, herbs ( I could use more detail here), pineapple and the sweetness that suggests. A touch of creaminess. A nose you could sniff and forego drinking. FANTASTIC. Varietal Character

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
