(179 views)

Tasted by 1fyuragi on 2/22/2024 & rated 89 points: Colore rosso rubino intenso con riflessi granati sull’unghia. Finale medio-lungo. (356 views)
Tasted by Tim Heaton on 1/27/2024: Slow-O for three hours. Upon tasting at the cantina, I immediately asked for six. And as much as I like it now, and as much as I enjoy young Langhe Nebbiolo, I'm going to hold my remaining bottles another year as I think an associated dividend is on the horizon. Alan's on a roll with these LNs, and after having gone through more than a case since the first was released, I've yet to be disappointed. No real surprise, there. Love the red fruits, tension, weight, and freshness. Should drink at this level through 2029, at least. Having said all that, I wish I had twelve. 14,5% abv. At present, it's easily recommended

Tasted by Axone on 12/10/2023 & rated 91 points: Vin élégant, délicat et équilibré qui s'améliore à l'aération mais gagnera à attendre encore quelques années. (552 views)
Tasted by Klugi Wine on 12/6/2023 & rated 90 points: Needed 60-90 minutes to start showing its stuff.
Beautiful classical Nebbiolo nose with some violets, cherries and a whiff of dark chocolate.
The palate offers fine tannins with good grip, I guess it will be enjoyable from now (with a cold decant) up to 2030. (671 views)
Tasted by s******n on 10/13/2023 & rated 90 points: Klassischer Nebbiolo in trad. Ausbau.
Jetzt schon schön zu trinken.
Allerdings nur mittlerer Nachhall und Länge. (760 views)
Tasted by Jeremy Holmes on 5/16/2023: There's no artifice here, just Nebbiolo purity. The nose is rose petals, raspberry and earth. The palate makes you think of paisley. It is bright, vivid, red and highly perfumed. There's flesh and substance and tannins that are moderate and supportive. It engages the whole way through and is a thoroughly enjoyable bottle of wine. Nebbiolo

Nebbiolo is a red grape indigenous to the Piedmont region of Italy in the Northwest. The grape can also be found in other parts of the world, though they are not as respected.

Nebbiolo is often considered the "king of red wines," as it is the grape of the famed wines of Barolo DOCG, Barbaresco DOCG, and Roero DOCG. It is known for high tannins and acidity, but with a distinct finesse. When grown on clay, Nebbiolo can be very powerful, tannic, and require long aging periods to reach its full potential. When grown on sand, the grape exhibits a more approachable body with more elegant fruit and less tannins, but still has high aging potential.

"Nebbiolo" is named for the Italian word, "nebbia", which means "fog", in Italian and rightfully so since there is generally a lot of fog in the foothills of Piedmont during harvest.

Nebbiolo is a late-ripening variety that does best in a continental climate that boasts moderate summers and long autumns. In Piedmont, Nebbiolo is normally harvested in October.
