A very pleasant surprise. Blackberry fruit was well supported by a supple structure and pleasingly ripe sequence all the way to the finish. Some earthy notes. Not much depth, but impressive balance. A 'food' wine. Lacking pretension and intended for local consumption with local cuisine.
