Tasted by SAND on 5/30/2021 & rated 92 points: APPEARANCE: Wonderful deep colour; bronze / medium amber. 13.0% ABV.
NOSE: Fresh apricot, peach, honeydew melon honeysuckle, ripe yellow apples, lots of honey. Very aromatic and wonderful nose. (92p)
TASTE: Super ripe peach & apricot, orange water, orange liqueur, lemon marmalade. Tastes of ripe sweet fruits while being completely dry. Plenty of acidity and freshness. (92p)
OVERALL: Oustanding. Mature and in a great place now. TOTAL SCORE 92 points. (754 views)
Tasted by lightning on 10/27/2018 & rated 90 points: Classic aged Tahbilk marsanne, in good condition. Honeysuckle, lemon rind, slight viscous texture, fine lemon acidity providing good structure, slightly toasty/honeysuckle on the end. Wonderful for its standing. (1350 views)
Tasted by CamWheeler on 5/4/2017 & rated 90 points: Auswine - 90s and earlier tasting: Blind. Lots of apricot, wax, some ashy and herb notes as well give it some extra interest. Feels quite ripe and rich on the palate, there is quite a lot of punch to the fruit. In a good spot for drinking now. One of the better old Tahbilk Marsanne that I've had. (2205 views)
Tasted by Julian B on 6/14/2014 & rated 95 points: Two bottles consumed over the last month. First was good, but the second last Saturday was amazing. Golden colour, aromas of tea, lanolin and a tangy fino like note, with rich long flavours of honeysuckle, lime, almonds on the palate. Truly one of Australia's great wines. (2848 views)
Tasted by Julian B on 8/28/2013 & rated 96 points: Bought two bottles at auction recently. The first was good (91), but the second was outstanding. Honey, marzipan, faint citrus notes and crispness make for a sublimely unctuous package. (3183 views)
Tasted by GuWin on 10/12/2012 flawed bottle: Deep amber color and sherry tones - cellared for 13 years, now oxidized :-( (3011 views)
Tasted by Julian B on 2/16/2011 & rated 91 points: Distinct honeyed notes came through beautifully so it tasted like a really good viognier or a demi sec Vouvray, coupled with a not unpleasant iced tea taste, and it still had a reasonably crisp finish. Excellent wine.

I don't reckon it would get much better, but it would still be good for another couple of years. (2992 views)
