Tasted by jamesdoeser on 4/6/2013 & rated 90 points: This was delicious - full of redcurrant and plum and with a really delicacy to the structure. Drank w roast chicken. (1022 views)
Tasted by Dids on 4/14/2011 & rated 88 points: Much better than the big fruited big oaked monster I drank 2 years ago. A good mixture or red and black cherries on the nose offering up brightness, touch of creaminess and white pepper. In the mouth the fruits a touch lighter with vibrant acidity gave you red cherries and red currants. A touch of earthiness in the entry and alcohol slightly spoiled the finish initially, but in the end this dissapated. Acidity in balance with fruit, and tannins fine but still firm and very present. Definately a food wine. Close to peaking with 3 years more of enjoyment. (1524 views)
Tasted by wabi47 on 3/28/2011 & rated 90 points: clean earth on the nose; good sl dusty red currant and cranberry fruit, good earth, well integrated tannins, acidity and some pepper on the finish; very nice. (1443 views)
Tasted by chad1616 on 8/15/2009: paired well with grilled pork (with no sauce) - big wine with a nice structure red currant and dark fruit with nice distinct tannins (1715 views)
Tasted by wabi47 on 1/11/2009 & rated 88 points: good red currant fruit with bright acidity and fine tannins; a bit leaner and more closed than i recall but still interesting; (1503 views)
Tasted by wabi47 on 12/16/2008 & rated 92 points: floral nose; great dark plum, red currant and pomeganate fruit with vibrant acidity and fine tannins; great combo of lightness and length; odd mix of grapes takes the best of each and really works; surprisingly good; (993 views)
