 Tasted by wtianseter on 7/31/2012 & rated 87 points: This bottle was labeled DOC. Deep, deep purple color. Strong earthy nose with fruit following. Taste was big on fruit. It seemed just slightly out of balance when we compared directly with another great American Zin. This wine is big at 15% alcohol and the fruit and tannins stand up to the alcohol (1711 views)
