Tasted by winewitch59 on 1/8/2016: No rating the wine was old and spoiled, went down the drain. First one from the stash to be undrinkable. 2-3 years too late. (1156 views)
Tasted by Rickets on 6/19/2015 & rated 94 points: What a surprise. I don't normally like BC red wine but this cab franc has aged remarkably well. Had at the winery from the library wine menu and the wine was well balanced with all components well integrated and balanced. Will last at least another 5 years at least. Wow. (1221 views)
Tasted by SadEdjo on 11/24/2012 & rated 90 points: Suprisingly youthful in look, nose and finish. Vibrant cherry fruit and sweet tobacco in while resolved supple and sweet tannins. Oak now resolved to the background. (1864 views)
Tasted by biggie on 6/20/2009 & rated 89 points: BC (Canada) retrospective (Sharon & Guy's): Clear ruby core of moderate intensity - youthful in appearance. Excellent nose of dark fruit with some spice - moderate+ intensity. Moderate acid, alcohol, body and tannin and very well balanced. Spicy flavours with dark fruit on the palate. Moderately long finish with soft mint showing. Very well made and delicious. (3282 views)
Tasted by biggie on 8/26/2008 & rated 90 points: Clear dark ruby core of moderate intensity out to a lighter ruby edge and thin watery rim - still youthful in appearance. Mod+ intense nose of damp earth, old wood, dark fruit (sort of a plum/blackberry cross) and spice and some floral notes (crushed rose petals?). Youthful with some development. Moderate acid, alcohol, body and tannin (ripe) and extremely well balanced. Flavours of black cherry, white pepper, vanilla and some plum. Fully ripe but not overripe fruit showing with a very soft entry but also containing some nice grip from the tannins - again, still youthful but with some development showing. The finish is moderately long and pleasant with the dark fruit continuing. Extremely well made and drinking very well now. Will continue to develop for another 3+ years. Excellent product from an average weather year in British Columbia. (2733 views)
Tasted by Tad GW on 5/14/2007 & rated 86 points: A bit of a gaseous like edge on initial tasting but otherwise a voluptuous wine complemented by good acidity. Dark red color shows its concentration. It is velvety in the mouth and a nice soft wine that is rich and enjoyable. The slight carbonic gas fizz didn't completely disappear, however, not even the next day. This was the first bottle of the case that had this slight fizz.

Tasted by BigHitX on 3/5/2007 & rated 90 points: Full bodied and one of my faves (2061 views)
Tasted by Londello on 10/9/2006: Hung on to this bottle for a special sharing and was let down by the lack of everything. For a Canadian cult wine, it was lack luster---not much of anything. The last glass the following day seemed a little more lively, but nothing up to the BO mystique. (2204 views)
Tasted by Rob MacKay on 9/2/2006: There was definitely something a little off on this bottle. I don't think it was flawed but it might have been. Tasted very astringent with a funky aftertaste. no rating. (2393 views)
Tasted by Tad GW on 10/11/2005 & rated 87 points: One satisfying Cab. Franc that is coming into its own now. 50+5+11+14+7=87 (2616 views)
