Behind all that, some bright citrus notes. A simple, pleasurable wine, if not varietally pure. Good acidity. Opens rich and fruity on the palate with a mouth-coating texture; muted acidity, easy-drinking and gobs of apricot fruit with just a hint of citrus behind. Will never be confused with an Alcacian or Veneto product, but well-received as a coctail wine. Too rich for salty shellfish, but would pair well with more meaty seafood or chicken dishes.
