Light flaxen. Intense and aromatic nose. Green/herbal, sea/salt, some minerals and butter. Full-bodied and smooth. Sitrus on the palate. Long fininsh with some bitterness and spices. Very good.
Light golden. Open style, noticeable butter/oak aroma. Some grass and tropical fruit. Medium body. Also some oak in the finish. Medium lenght. Very straight-forward style.
I notice that others are rating this one much higher than me, so I have to make the reservation that this was perhaps not a perfect bottle.
Light golden. Aroma of wet wool, some sweetness/honey and flowers/perfume. Full-bodied, quite developed now. Some bitterness in the finish, which is a bit flat. Probably slightly over the top.
Light flaxen. Pure, a bit neutral nose. Lime, minerals and butter. Medium body, very intense on the palate. Very long finish. Great stuff, great potential.

2008 Caves Duplessis Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre 89 Points
France, Burgundy, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru
Light flaxen. Green/herbal nose, ripe apple and wet wool. Medium body. Very intense, bitter and sharp. Long finish. Very young.
On day 2: More classic chablis-aromas, sea/salt and butter. The bitterness is less pronounced. Think this one has a very good aging potential.
