(12.5%) As a quick FYI in the Alsace if it says Riesling it's 100%. So what do we have here? Nice, fragrant nose of sweet apple blossoms. The palate starts dry and clean here with stony minerality but with muted fruit before a pleasant spiced finish. Perhaps a bit disjointed this isn’t a favorite and certainly not worth $19. That said check out something like the Meyer-Fonné to see what this region is capable of…

(13.5%) 100% Pinot Gris (aka Pinot Grigio) – Great, slightly candied, peach/apricot blossomed nose. This one starts medium to full bodied and luscious on entry with loads of sweet peach and orange peel acidity. Rich with creamy, nectar sweetness throughout before a pleasant, mild acidity emerges and leads to a lingering finish with just a touch of heat and spice.
