Introduction

Incredible event, conducted by Didier Depond, from Maison Salon

Flight 1 (5 Notes)

  • 2002 Salon Champagne Blanc de Blancs Brut 92 Points

    France, Champagne

    Degorgée 2013
Brilliant golden yellow, with young, greenish tones. Perlage extremely fine and persistent.
Intense, complex and fine at nose: Toasted butter bisquits, almonds and marzipan, amid, oxidized apples, some agrumes hints and a mineral note (gypsum)
Dry, rounded, with a good acidity and minerality.
Very rich in mouth also if young; nice fruit: Grapefruit!! showing at taste with a long mineral ending.

    Brilliant light golden yellow.
At nose some toasted notes at first and fumé/silex. Then butter, peanuts, pan brioche, with a balsamic note.

Good acidity and nice fruit (grapefruit) at taste; perfectly centered, probably at its best. Good acidity and minerality, with a long persistence. Still young.
