Just a great Sunday afternoon with 8 friends, each of us throwing 500€ in the bucket and in addition brought 2 bottles out of our own cellars.
We always tasted 2 wines against each other.
Davide Saitta provided his Restaurant for this amazing tasting and Toni Askitis, owner and chef-sommelier from D'Vine Restaurant was the best moderator
i have ever seen.
I'll never forget this great afternoon.
Thanks guys.
My favorite wine of the evening was the 1979 Prüm we had in the beginning - i could sip on this forever!
2nd place for the Masseto 11 - i know, it's quite young, but it showed it's potential and is full of power right now.
3rd place for the Chateau Margaux 01, which is in an amazing drinking condition right now.
Good luck and good night

Wow, this one was simply amazing! Fresh and living acidity and great aging notes at the same time. Fresh tobacco, dried apricots, peach and some mint. Long and powerful aftertaste - i could sip on this forever!
