Nice white wine with freshness and balance, sweet notes but also a touch metallic, lovely neutral white but no distinct personality. Now for sub $15, maybe that is asking a bit much and I would refill my glass if that is all there is, hence my 85 score.
Acid balance, good melon and peach flavor intensity, nice linger, slight skin tannin note in finish and a decent price $17 and 13% alcohol. Lovely mouth feel and weight, can be a main course wine.
Lovely nose, very typical and classically grassy but not over bearing . Good weight, balance, 12.5%, nice finish, fair price at $19. Nice didn't buy but having second thoughts might order some today, it would be nice this fall.
Low key "very, very mild" Sauvignon Blanc that was slightly bronzed on first pour. Nothing really defective except for the wallflower personality, but $34 it needs to have something distinctive.
France, Languedoc Roussillon, Languedoc, Corbières
Unadorned with oak and juicy. This is a solid young style wine. Intense color, great fruit, body and clean finish. Bring on the beef stew. Show this to your red blend friends, you don't have to overdo oak and mega red to make a lovely big wine.
My score may be low, this wine needs time. Good color, expressive nose, nice texture and acidity, but seems a bit closed. I thinks this will continue to be more expressive with time, although for $20 I could be perfectly happy drinking it now. We will see.
This wine did nothing for me, not that I could't drink it, but I will forget it. As a light red it is innocent of much character and at $28 I can buy two bottles of something better.
Best wine of the tasting and of course the most pricy at $45. This spicy number has a complex flavor and tannin profile that cries out for grilled fish or octopus, maybe some chippino. Really nice
Reduced and stinky upon first pour. Low complexity and so-so character all for $35. Okay texture and finish, but it is easy to find a better wine for half the price.
Minty and classic but for $27 overpriced by a yard. Supposedly organic I am not impressed, could drink if someone else is buying but may not refill my glass.

Fat characterless dry white without personality or aromatics. Only $17, maybe you have to be there to appreciate.

This wine did not show well at all. My notes are diesel exhaust in a barnyard. All for $42
