Deep ruby, moderate thickness, and highly extracted. Purple floral aromas, green fern, and twigs. Highly tannic and acidic, a good weight, lots of alcohol heat, but strangely still kind of green, twiggy and leafy, and some underripe blackberry and cherry, as well as cloves, liquorice, coffee and cocoa. Some persistence from the florals and cocoa

Deep purple, moderate thickness and high extraction. Orange blossom and orange zest aromas with raspberry. Acidic, medium tannins and medium weight, while with some good alcohol heat. Cherry and orangey flavours, and somewhat beery hoppy at the back. Seems like something made naturally

Deep ruby, thick legs and high extraction. Pronounced ripe cassis aromas and lavender. High tannins, somewhat heightened acid and heaty alcohol. Really rich and intense, with cassis, coffee and cocoa, but towards the back seems to exhibit a burnt peaty flavour. Probably there’s over-scorching of the barrels to get this, but otherwise nice

Deep ruby, some thickness. Nose of coffee and chocolate, and peat. Quite some savoury meaty flavours with paprika, grass, and blackberry. Some large blackness towards the back

Deep ruby, and quite some extraction. Nose full of alcohol fumes, and some roses, blackberry, cassis, grass, oak vanillin, dark chocolate. Rich, textured, tannic, and huge intensity. Lots of chocolate, caramel, coffee flavours, which becomes grassy and rosy towards the back and a long finish. Powerful, voluptuous, exceptional!

Deep ruby. Floral aromas, somewhat of orange blossoms and lavender, and grassy. Acidic and tannic. Flavours of raspberry, twigs, blackberry, some brine and meats. Also a rather terroir-driven earthiness and florals. Fair finish

Medium gold, fine persistent beads. Mainly ripe tangerine and hoppy aromas, and pineapples, brioche and pepper flavours. In my opinion a rather bold and masculine one, but pretty simple
