Clear, pale golden color. Clean, medium intense, youthful nose with fine fruit some brioche. Quite similar to the 2008.
On the palate very balanced, fine mousseux, good pressure and tension, beautiful fruit, a bit rounder and softer than 2008, but also very good. Still young. 92-93+

Clear, pale golden color. Clean, medium intense, youthful nose with fine fruit, some brioche elegant. Quite like the 2009.
On the palate 2009 on steroids. More pressure and tension, deeper and more juicy. Still very young, but already drinking very nicely. Long and fine finish. 93-94++

Popped and poured. Clear, pale golden yellow color. Clean, pleasant nose, deep, smoky and dense. On the palate juicy, quite racy acidity, nice mineral core, some bitter orange notes. Good length. Still young, potential of at least 5+ years. Good PQR. 89-90

Popped and poured, from Magnum. Do not serve this wine too cold. It needs at least 11-12 degrees to fully unfold its flavours.
Clear, medium golden color. Clean, medium+ intense nose with clean botrytis, ripe pineapple and apricot, honey, mineral core. Needs air and temperature to unfold.
On the palate dry, medium+ acidity, 13,5% abv, well integrated. Lots of power, pressure, wonderful mineral core, botrytis, ripe yellow stone fruit. Also some “band aid” notes. Very long. Still young, needs 2-3+ years. 93-94+

Popped and poured. Clear, medium ruby color. Clean nose, easily identifiable as a German Pinot. Deep and dense, lots of strawberries, herbs, but also some annoying vanilla toasting notes.
On the palate clean fruit, lots of strawberries, cool, herbaceous, nice balance. But the oak is also not (yet) well integrated, so we have a lot of vanilla notes in this wine. Certainly well made, but not my cup of tea. 89-91

Popped and poured. Clear, medium deep ruby with tawny rim. Clean, classic Medoc nose, some fine tobacco, leather, but also green pepper. Deep and dense.
On the palate a bit rough, good pressure. Herbs, some juicy red fruit, but also harsh, green notes from stems. Acidity a bit sharp and unbalanced. Drink now – 10 years, but I doubt, that it gets any better. 90-91

Popped and poured. Clear, medium ruby with tawny rim. Clean, some sweet-sour notes. On the palate some black tea, still elegant and balanced, but this bottle was certainly past peak. No rating. 85-87

Popped and poured. Perfect cork and fill level. Maybe we should have decanted the wine? Clear, pale amber color. Nose not really clean, some cellar mold, botrytis, volatile acidity.
On the palate a bit better, bitter notes from botrytis, acidity a bit unbalanced, spicy. Lacks depth and tension. Drinkable, but without fun. Past peak. 82-84
