Lovely dinner on their terrace with Todd and Liz, looking east over Lake Michigan. Fabulous roast capon with pork/sage dressing, green beans, and a root vegetable medly that incuded turnips, celery, carrots, cabbage, and baby potatoes.
Interesting progression in the wines. The 1975 Beycheville was interesting in its own right, and hanging in there. The Lynch Bages were a treat, with the 1990 clearly the WOTN

enolic aromatics blew off early, fruits were somewhat subdued, rather stern. Acid midpalate, and finish didn't last. Not sure this will improve
