France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Clos de la Roche Grand Cru
Magnum. Ruby. Remarkably thin feel and lack of richness for such a heralded bottle. Hugely disappointing and difficult to understand coming from this large scaled vintage. Another example of a Ponsot that was show stopping when it debuted but much less compelling later on.

2017 François Raveneau Petit Chablis
France, Burgundy, Chablis, Petit Chablis
Magnum. Pale. Herbal, saline, and mineral. Ridiculously slight for its price. I'll gladly take the Dauvissat Petit Chablis at half the price.

2010 Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
Magnum. Medium yellow. Toasty oak. Woody base. Creamy, lactic feel with pear fruit and a bit of citrus peel. This could/should be better than this.
