Blind. Very bright aromas with orchard fruit, minerality and a hint of matchstick. Very crisp and acid-driven palate that also appears to be slightly compact due to reduction right now. Lots of upside as this settles in. My 4/5, Group #4.

Blind. Huge nose that is chock-full of primary, creamy, toasty, spicy orchard fruit. The palate follows suit with a power-driven profile and loads of rich, creamy while also bright and energetic fruit. Floral finish. Delicious now with upside. My 2/5, Group #2.

Blind. Pretty nose of lemon-lime, orchard fruit and florals. Palate is richly fruited with nice power and balance. Came across a bit simple. When told there was village wine in the otherwise 1er cru lineup, most called this as the village wine. (although then another village bottle turned up, which was mistakingly inserted as a 1er). My 5/5, Group #5.

Blind. This built depth and momentum as it sat in the glass. Bright, mineral-driven nose. Palate is acid driven with primary, lively fruit that is plush and engaging. Plenty of taut acidity in a chewy finish. Upside from here. My 3/5, Group #1. 1er quality village wine.

Blind. I found this to be the most serious wine in the flight that showed it's greatness with contemplation as its still not an obvious wine. The nose is intriguing if a little modest right now with spice, minerals, honeyed nuts and pure fruit. Palate is already delicious and with time shows serious depth and complexity with orchard, tropical and citrus fruit, florals and spice. Long floral and citrus oil finish just lingers. Terrific wine. My 1/5, Group #3.

Blind. Full, lifted nose with abundant black fruit made complex with evergreen, mint, spice and sweet herbs. The palate has rich and incredibly youthful, fresh fruit. Tasted ten years old, not twenty-five years old. Should hold for multiple decades. Fairly easy to peg as Australian Shiraz, but you'd think it's much younger.

Blind. Gorgeous nose that doesn’t stop and is addictingly engaging — dried black fruit, smoked meat, olive brine, black pepper, dried florals and new leather. Wow. Delicious with plentiful plush fruit and balancing structure. Complex and long. Most certainly Cote Rotie, though i was leaning towards 1998.

Blind. Beautiful, towering nose of matchstick infused orchard fruit, spice and rich minerals. Delicious with powerful rich fruit that has a kiss of very attractive reduction. Resounding, well integrated acidity in the long finish. My #1/6, Group #2.

2014 Michel Colin-Deléger et Fils Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru En Remilly 92 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru
Blind. Attractive if nondescript aromas of apple, peach, florals and mint. A substantial palate with very rich and chewy fruit balanced with taut acids. Fun now, but I suspect this gets better as the wine settles in. My 4/6, Group #1. I think the group liked the full throttle nature more than me.

2014 Hubert Lamy Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly Blanc 91 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Saint-Aubin 1er Cru
Blind. Attractive smoky, spicy, minerally nose is nuanced if a little subdued in intensity. One of the more firm wines in this flight with rich but highly structure fruit. Nice melange of citrus flavors and tangy acidity in the finish. My 5/5 and Group #5. I'd hold as this is good now, but will be great in a few years.

2014 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chenevottes 93 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru
Blind. Really attractive nose with intensity and complexity -- florals, minrals, spice, crisp orchard fruits. Deliciously round on the palate with orchard, tropical and citrus fruits and loads of mineral spice. Amazing tangy acidity that is seamlessly integrated with the fruit. Delicious now though this should hold for 5-10+ years. My 2/6, Group #3.

2014 Domaine Bernard Moreau et Fils Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Sous Roche Dumay Blanc 92 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Saint-Aubin 1er Cru
Blind. Full, alluring nose that is showing ready with bruised ripe fruit and even a touch of honeying along with bright minerality, making it quite intriguing. Good ying and yang of creaminess and crispness on the palate. Good precision in the long, bright finish. My 3/6, Group #4.

Slightly oxididzed from what seemed like a bad cork seal.
