Very reductive at first. The wine is reddish-brown. Smells like coffee, dark fruit, pepper, and a little green. Some mint on the palate. Sweet and sour fruit, but the wine has some paprika notes that do not disappear. Nice structure and decent length.

The wine is light brown, transparent. Smells like tea and overripe fruit. Broth, spices and tar. Tastes anise and prunes, and thin fruit. The wine still has some tannins and acid. Soaked cork, and most likely a non-optimal bottle. More interesting than good.

Round nose with red fruit, dairy, velvet, hung meat, and leather. Tastes of dark fruit, and dark berries. The wine is still tight and should have several years ahead of it.
