Pale lemon. Nose shows grapefruit, spice, vanilla. Medium bodied, grapefruit again, some weight, creamy vanilla, fresh acids, grassy notes on good length finish.

Medium gold. Rich nose, buttery, oxidative notes. Medium bodied, buttery, oxidative, finishes flat. just about clinging on but has seen better days. NR

Opaque garnet core, narrow rim. . Nose is ripe, plum fruit, soil. Quite sweet. Medium/full bodied, soft tannins, ripe plums, nice fresh acids, good length finish. Very good.

Deep ruby core, narrow pale rim. Nose shows dark fruit, lovely purity, touch of cedar. Medium bodied, pure blackcurrant fruit, touch of cedar, very good length balanced finish. Correct and attractive if not overly complex

2/12. Nose shows red and black berries, touch of soil and caramel. Medium bodied, ripe fruit, touch of spice and caramel, tactile with soft tannins, fresh acidity, expands nicely on finish.

Aromatic nose, cigar box, dark fruit, smoke. Medium/full bodied, ripe blackcurrant fruit, cigar box, soft tannins, some richness but has line with fresh acidity carrying a very good length, harmonious finish. Excellent, drinking well, absolutely no hurry.

5/11. Medium garnet. Nose show plum, a touch of opulence and richness. Medium bodied, plum fruit, now quite soft and round, spice and leather notes, vibrant acidity, good length harmonious finish. Has put on a touch of weight and softened nicely, really drinking very well now.

Slightly dusty with cabbagey/seaweed notes which blew off a but with time. Red cherry fruit, soil, a bit mean on the palate with a slightly drying finish. NR
