Where Else?

Pop up gathering and tasting when we felt we were missing some "connection" this season. Reds were decanted for 2+ hours and everything was tasted out of Riedel Cab glasses (to avoid cleaning for days!).
So cool to have friends find a little time and share!
2013 Geoffroy Champagne Premier Cru Empreinte 93 Points
France, Champagne, Champagne Premier Cru
Red berries, stone fruit, citrus: including lime zest, then saline and a hint of yeast. Great finish and QPR. Their website doesn't mention this vintage, but the 2015 is 100% Pinot so sh6k below can feel better about the tasting impression (its not Chard!).

2021 Domaine des Roches Neuves Saumur Clos Romans 91 Points
France, Loire Valley, Anjou-Saumur, Saumur
This wine is remarkable for its energy and purity. A laser beam of citrus/lime/grapefruit, minerality/chalk, then hints of florals, spice, and honey. So tart, it really needs food. I'm sure this could last 20 years.

2018 Domaine Serene Chardonnay Evenstad Reserve 93 Points
USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Dundee Hills
After the Chenin, this was a nice palate relief! Green apple, pear, lemon curd, melon and stones ride a much fuller texture. Balanced structure. Now-2028.
