Introduction

Group stopped by Azzura for a light lunch after the Mondavi tasting, and that afternoon we picked up the fresh crab for the final event

Flight 1 - Lunch at Azzura (1 Note)

thin crust pizza (melanzane was wonderful), pastas or salads..the wine choice continued the no OAK!! chardonnay theme

Flight 2 - Dinner Chez Nous (2 Notes)

Fresh dungeness crab, broiled fresh asparagus with hollandais, green salad and Mexican Chocolate ice cream from Oxbow market

    Steely and crisp, true to style, but with a bit of residual sugar. Grüner Veltliners are always a pleasure

    This pinot has developed very nicely, depth and complexity, will enjoy seeing how this evolved. Not at all over-extracted, great nose with strawberry and raspberry flovors, hint of citrus
