    Bright light with almost no age.
    Youthful, fruity fresh nose.
    Fruity attack, good belance, quite tanninc, needs another five years in the cellar, good length.

    Light with a bit of age.
    Ripe fruit on the nose but lacking intensity.
    A very approachable wine, though it's still acidic and tanninc, best kept for a couple of years, good length.

    Fuller colour, showing age.
    A very developed nose, and there's some baked fruit.
    Ripe fruit, good acidity and tannin, not enough fruit to keep it going, the finish is somewhat like treacle, quite long.

    Rich and full colour showing age.
    There's development on the nose and some fruit, not the most attractive.
    Very sweet attack, well balanced, charming, almost elegant and will become so in a couple of years, good length.
