a really unique viognier. the nose has tons of white peach and flowers. really explosive nose. on the palate, this has a wonderful creamy texture. it's aged in old oak, so there's not any toast flavors, but it manages to bring honeysuckle, inscense and a bit of baking spices with the really ripe pineapple and mango fruit. this also has excellent acidity, and you can taste the minerals on the finish for a long time. this is one serious viognier. 91 WS, but i like it even more.

100 percent syrah. the nose shows black olives and sour cherries. this is a lighter style, with sour cherry and green pepper flavors with a medium bodied frame. very silky tannins. this is a really accessible wine.
bright ruby colored and the nose on this bursts with sweet red cherries, red licorice and potpourri. this is really silky on the palate, full-bodied and big, but the tannins are sweet and chewy. cherry pie flavors along with white pepper and a hint of game. brings great fruit and a lot of the earthy aspects i love from northern rhone syrah at a $25 price point. total qpr alert.
this has 10% viognier, which makes sense because the nose is exploding with sweet cherries, flowers, damp earth. i really love the nose. on the palate this feels a bit lacking in structure. lots of dark cherry fruit but and some mocha on the finish. still a good wine, but i'm not sure this has the stuffing to age very long. more a drink now kind of cote rotie.
wow what a sexy wine we have here. 100% syrah. th nose on this is dark and seductive, lots of plums, grape skins, iron and olive tapenade. its so damn expressive already, i really wonder what it could do in a few years. the palate is gorgeous. full but absolutely silky. gushing flavors of olives, cassis, dark roasted coffee and slate. the fruit is so plush, but i love how this wine tastes really fresh because of the acidity. it's rare that i find a syrah that can bring the immensity of fruit and flavors, but maintain that refreshing acidity. the finish is very long and highlited with minerals. spectacular stuff, but surely one to put down for a while.
