  • 2008 Buty Sémillon/Sauvignon/Muscadelle 89 Points

    USA, Washington, Columbia Valley

    Straw/gold in color. Very citrusy nose, with a good bit of minerality as well. Flavors of lemon-lime, with a touch of sweetness, and a nice mineral backbone. This is not like most Sauv Blancs I have tried...mostly Sémillon, which makes all the difference!

  • 2008 Buty Chardonnay Conner Lee Vineyard 87 Points

    USA, Washington, Columbia Valley

    Very light yellow color. Nice nose of lemons and pineapple. Flavors of pears, lemons and just a hint of oak. Definitely not overdone here. Winemaker said this went through 'partial malolactic fermentation', meaning that some barrels did, and some didn't, prior to blending.

  • 2008 Buty Merlot/Cabernet Franc 89 Points

    USA, Washington, Columbia Valley

    Dark ruby/purple color. Nose of sweet blueberries, with a touch of green pepper, both following to the palate. Nicely structured, although a bit young to be really enjoyable right now. Give it a year to really shine (and it will), and this will be a 92-93 point wine.

  • 2007 Dowsett Family Devotion 88 Points

    USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley

    Rhone blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre. Deep purple/black in color. A bit of funk on the nose, with lots of strawberry and rhubarb coming through on the palate. A bit closed right now, so not as enjoyable as the other reds.

  • 2007 Buty Rediviva of the Stones 90 Points

    USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley

    Dark purple color. Nose of sweet blackberries with some nice earth notes. Flavors of crushed blackberries mixed with gravel. Some pepper making an appearance as this slides into a coffee-filled finish.

  • 2006 Buty Columbia Rediviva Phinny Hill Vineyard 92 Points

    USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Horse Heaven Hills

    Dark maroon in color, very youthful. Lovely nose...big on the Cabernet. Violets, blackberries, cassis. A bit of earth also. Big blackberry fruit, with an earthy/black pepper component. Somewhat tannic on the finish, I would lay this down for another 2-3 years for optimal drinking.
