Dinner at Palisades (on the boat before dinner). Drinking from a plastic wine glass is never fun, but what are you going to do? Definitely a wine to go with food, but this went down much better with smoked cod and shrimp. My wife who likes sweet wines liked this more than I did. Nice wine, but no way this is worth the price.
Dinner at Palisades. Also from a plastic wine glass on the boat before dinner. This wine was able to overcome the stemware challenge. A nice bordeaux blend, but a little hot. This is their second wine and it seems like they had to "amp it up" a little to try and make it more flashy. Noticable oak and concentrated, this is definitely a new world style and not for the faint of heart.
Dinner at Palisades - had this with crab cakes and it was a wonderful combination. This was just too my liking, not too much wet grass from the SB and not overoaked. This was definitely preferable to the Caymus Conundrum that we had earlier in the evening.
