Tasted Blind-Strong typical Cab aroma's. Initial attack on the palate was nice, a sudden shot of full flavor. The mid palate gave a confusing flavor of greenness/vegtetal, maybe menthol that turned into a sweet olive finish. Sort of weird. Smooth mouthfeel. Went back and tasted again later but still couldn't really get behind it. I think it was decanted several hours before arriving, maybe just young and needs more time.
Tasted Blind--very bordeaux-ish nose. rich concentrated flavors, leather, and a little band-aid smell and taste. You could tell this was an aged wine. Very soft and smooth with a long finish. Still drinking well but no reason to wait any longer.

Tasted blind--Full bodied, lots of strong dark fruit flavors, cedar and spice. Very strong long lingering finish with some different flavors surfacing. When this wine was revealed I was happy to see that I tasted it before and also gave it a high rating with consistent notes. A very good buy at $35.
Tasted blind--oak on the nose, dark fruit mxed with oak on the inital attack with a touch of some burned tar. Strong flavor, great structure and acidity moving into a nice chocolate finish. I liked this wine and this was a Merlot snuck into a blind Napa Cab tasting. Rated in my top 3 of the night.
Tasted blind--Some sweet vanillla and red fruit on the nose. Good balance of oak and red fruit on the palate with a little spice. Smooth mouthfeel and tannins finishing with some black currant and/or chocalate. An excellent Napa Cab.
Tasted blind-Pure napa cab flavors with a kick. Rich concentrated fruit, well structured, with tannins creating a nice grip on the finish. This wine will not dissapoint as a Napa Cab.

1994 Robert Mondavi Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 94 Points

2004 Plumpjack Merlot Rutherford 93 Points
