La Cave Insolite, Montlouis
Tasted Monday, May 10, 2010 by SimonG with 549 views
A fascinating hour tasting through the range with Manuela Chidaine. Great opportunity to compare the single vineyard with the blended, get a sense of individual terroirs and vintage variations. Thoroughly recommended although it proved to be a very expensive visit.

Demi-sec. 12g RS. Rounder, a slight sense of the RS on the nose but still fairly dry. Riper possibly. Good but doesn't excite me as much as some of the previous wines. ***
