Bright scarlet, clear and translucent. Notes of red and black cherries, with hint of mud on the nose. Very clean, good fruit. A nice, balanced fruit-driven wine with a hint of pepper and fine tannins. Approachable now.
Made from 70 year old vines. Dark red, with an animal nose laced with blackberries and brett. Sweet fruit on the palate, slightly bitter finish. A big wine, fat tannins. This is obviously good stuff but not my kind of Burgundy.

Almost transparent lightred. Floral nose, a little grassy and with hints of licorice. Starts with bright red fruit in the mouth, and finishes with some white pepper. Very fine and feminine wine. Will gain weight and complexity with time.

Black cherries, tar, cloves, cinnamon and hints of black pepper on the nose. Painfully young and closed on the palate, dusty tannins on the long finish. Difficult to assess now, perhaps my score of 93 would be higher in time.

Dark berries, forest floor and baryard aromas. Very much a Grivot wine, this is a manly Richebourg... balanced, but spicy and quite big. Obviously young but open enough to assess right now. Needs 10 years to evolve.

100% destemmed grape placed in 100% new oak for 18 months. Showing some bricking on the rim, with some burnt rubber on the nose along with white flowers and red cherries. Hedonistic and surprisingly open, primary flavours of bright red cherries and raspberry, hint of freshly cut grass. Long.
