This was one of the jammier smelling Tempranillos of the nigth, with a bit of cocoa aroma as well. Not too bad for the price, but nothing I would seek out.
Light fruit smell, not on the jammy side like a few of the other Tempranillos. The lighter fruit (strawberry) comes through in the taste as well. This is quite tannic and has an acidic finish to it.
This has more of an earthy, barnyard & oak smell than the other Tempranillos at the tasting. Also has a darker color to it, closer to purple. Really hits the tongue hard right away with a jammy taste. At first taste, this one didn't do it for me, but a couple sips later, it was very nice.

Light red fruit that has a smooth smell, almost buttery. Appearance is a cherry red color. Very nice & rich tasting wine with spice & vanilla flavors.

Has a definite pine and mint smell to it, and the mint followed through in the taste. Some fruit there, but really tough to get by the mint.
