Fantastic. A steal at approx. $13.99. While being easy to drink due to a tiny bit of sweetness, there is complexity on the nose and the palate. Lightly tropical fruit flavors with some earthiness to keep it in balance. Big palate, but not overwhelming. Matched perfectly with a crab h' ordeuvres.

A blend of 85% Chenin Blanc from Savennieres and 15% Cabernet Franc and tiny bit of sweetness on the palate along with lemon and fruit notes. It seems Chambers only has the Brut Sauvage in stock now. I'd try that based on the strength of this sparkler.
I never know what I'm going to get when opening bottles from the 70's lately and this was truly pleasant surprise. Great representation of mature California cabernet. Balanced and still fresh, showing dark fruit and some spice. Really nice.

1978 Robert Keenan Winery Cabernet Sauvignon
