Introduction

The Dallas 2nd Wednesday Group met this month for a White and Red Burgundy tasting. Grand or Premier Cru Burgundies only. Here are the results:

Flight 1 - Whites (7 Notes)

    Tasted non blind at a wine dinner. Opened and served immediately. Yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout with very light beading. Nose of sea foam, yellow pears, light sherry notes and wet stones. Flavors of graham crackers, sherry and yellow pears. Medium acidity, medium body. Drink now.

Might be able to hold much longer and watch this one morph into a delightful long aged Burgundy. 92+?
