Introduction

Our fourth tasting stop of the day was Andrew Murray just one door north of the main square in Los Olivos. The tasting room is clean and Spartan in nature with a large, well informed and engaging staff. The tasting fee is $10.00 for 8 wines plus a bonus today for a total of 9 wines. All of the wines were solid coming in within a point or two max of the 90 point mark. The 2007 Syrah Terra Bella is of particular note and worth seeking out.

    Tasted non blind at the tasting room. Light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of papaya, grapefruit and lychee. Flavors of apricot and papaya. Light to medium acidity, light to medium body. Drink now. 88+.
