Very balanced and almost elegant, a trait not uncommon in the 2006 reds. Plush red fruits and the early onset on some nice gamey notes. Mineral underlay. Forced me to change my mind about this producer.

No doubt there's plenty of fruit power here but this wine was completely monstered by oak. Needs a lot of time.
Well settled and balanced. Almost looks middle-aged with softer red berries. Oak in the background. Gives hope for the aggressive 2008.
Another great cleanskin bargain at $10. Chewy and tannic although front end fruit is quite approachable. Probably not intended to be this tough.
