Pears and green apples on the palate. I really liked the acidity and the faint sweetness that helped lengthen the wine. Tasty stuff.

I didn't find this as oaky as my friend dbp, I thought it actually had a nice balance of fruit to oak flavor. The fruit is very tasty, I thought this was very nice overall.

Nice fruit here, starting out a bit forward then turning tart leading into the finish. A hint of spiciness on the short finish. A nicely built wine for sure, just no fireworks for me.

Smells awesome, very balanced on the palate, lighter than some 2008's in color and weight but powerful in flavor. Easily one of the better Pinot Noirs we had during the 100-wine day.

2008 Adelsheim Chardonnay Caitlin's Reserve 93 Points

This was absolutely killing it today. Smelled great, but tasted absolutely amazing. Delicious from start to finish with evolving flavor on each portion of the palate. I wasn't expecting anything when I went to taste it and was wowed, so I went back for another sip and was wowed again. I left with a bottle and would buy more if my poor pocketbook could handle it. One of my favorite Oregon Chardonnays of all time based on this experience, I can't wait to pop the bottle I have and see if holds up.

Poured from the same bottle as dbp, why did I find this so horrible? Smelled like the inside of an old garbage can, with a palate that tasted like rotten grass and plastic. I was not a fan, everyone else seemingly loved it. I scored it 75, and I found it absolutely disgusting.

Coming from the 2006 Barrel select this was a step back, lighter in flavor and a bit overpowered by the previous wine. Still I could detect a balanced structure with hints of age peaking through. Nice wine overall, they should have poured this before the 2006.

This is styled more like a California Chardonnay with slightly less butter but still an over-use of oak in places. Some of the richness does come through though, and I'll be completely honest in saying I like the oak usage today. It reminded me of butter, coconut and suntan lotion. Pretty heavy on the oak butter thing, which puts it right in line with the majority of cheap California Charonnays, and even in that respect this has nothing to set itself apart from the rest. Pretty boring overall.

Super tasty green apples, longer finish with great acidity on this one. Feeling pretty well balanced as well. Very easy drinking, I could kill a bottle of this without batting an eye.

Nicely balanced with the acids holding long into the finish. Tasty fruits on the palate. Good but not worth the $$$ in my opinion.

Big and forward, but lacking the structure to frame things in. Flavor-wise pretty straightforward, seemingly safe winemaking without any complexity or evolution. Nice and drinkable but again a QPR fail.

Floral and fruity on the palate with a lower intensity. Light structure, easily drinkable. Feeling a bit better about it today, feeling a bit more balanced then in previous attempts.

Beautiful color in the glass. Red fruit palate with stronger structure, feeling slightly closed. Nice length with those tannins holding on for a long time. I'd let this sit a while.

Based off of their single vineyard wines, what happened here? This is soft, easy PN with upfront fruit and spice but has a wood edge from the oak. I was a fan of their 2007, maybe this just needs a year or two in bottle.

While you could feel the depth and weight of the wine in the mouth, the palate was a bit closed today. Still very tasty, but either needs time or we caught it at weird time. I've tasted this before and thought better of it. 90+

Super delcious, like sweet orange and tangerine nectar along with honey. Very luxurious feel on the palate. A spike of acidity rises up in the finish and cleans up nicely. Overall a delicious desert wine.
