Sharp, fresh palate, zingy and cleansing. Too young unless you like bags of acidity.

Much softer than the 2008, almost like a Pinot Gris with pears. Much fatter palate but allegedly from a poorer year (drink young).
White flower. Honeyed, soft, good balance with godd fruit intensity.
Fresh, mineral, hint of mushroom. Lots of fruit on the palate.
Showing deppening colour. Big nosewith more honey. Less fruit on the palate, more minerality and sweet pear.
Limes and minerality on the nose. Zesty, touch of sweetness – limes over stone.
Lemons over stone this time! Much more acidity, still very young.
More development, petrol on the nose but still some citrus. Mineral, soft on the attack, good acidity, dry but not opulent.
Apples and white flower on the nose. Soft approach again. Great fruit and length. Good intensity and a touch of sweetness.
Becoming golden in colour. Honeyed, clean, with a hint of pineapple on the nose. Sweet fruit on the palate with good balancing acidity.
Sweat and plasticine! Then red apples with a lingering petrol. Fresh acidity, stewed apples and long.
Honey, apricots, ripe fresh limes.
Lemon and limes intense nose. Intense fruity palate, dry, long with a bot of butterscotch and a grapefruit finish.
Rich apricot nose. Viscous in the mouth with good acidity. Clean with good length but quite simple and lacking the intensity expected from an SGN.
16% alcohol! V intense colour. Blue cheese start to the nose followed by earthy garrique forest floor and sweaty horses. Bone dry, good cherry fruit. Surprising from Alsace.
Well developed nose of angelica, candid peel and perhaps a touch of metal.
Less intense on the nose than the 2006 with a combination of caraway and mint. Fresh and light on the palate. A very unusual wine.
Earthy, mushroom, sweetness on the end of the nose. Sweet palate, more mushroom. Subtle with good acidity.
White truffle nose. Good acidity, sweet fruit, delicate, touch of nuttiness.
Good colour development. Almost lanolin on the nose. Lovely and round, quite simple but luscious.
Turkish Delight, spice and a hint of burnt fried egg and a touch of smoke. Good acidity, dry, preserved citrus fruit on the palate and apricots.
Lots of spice on the nose. Dry, intense fruit, long with good acidity (started to write more but the next one arrived!)
Minty apricots, tight and a little closed. Good length, hazelnut finish.
Spicey again. More traditional Gewürztraminer profile. Sweet, intense with sugared almonds.
Very golden in colour. Minty – almost like mushy peas on the nose! Spicy dominates, still fresh, soft, subtle with a lingering sweetness.
Very perfulmed nose of white flower. Great freshness, good length, minty, herby.
Sharp on the nose. Pears, good acid, fresh and sweet.
