Flight 1 (1 Note)

  • 2005 Laurona Montsant 83 Points

    Spain, Catalunya, Tarragona, Montsant

Medium-light color. Red berries and minerality on nose. Very wooden and tannic on nose, it hid most flavours. Extremely young and not very expressive at this moment.

Flight 3 (1 Note)

  • 2008 Vinyes de Manyetes Priorat Solertia 81 Points

    Spain, Catalunya, Priorat

This probably is now as wooden and tannic as you can get. Don't know what to get from this. Hard to taste a wine like this (or at this stage). Didn't enjoy at all. Maybe with time? that's a big IF.

  • 2006 Clos Mogador Priorat Manyetes 90 Points

Flight 5 (1 Note)

  • 2008 Clos Mogador Priorat 91 Points

    Spain, Catalunya, Priorat

Mid-upper bright red color, barely no rim. Intense red fruit on nose. Medium body palate, red berries at first, spicy and more ripe black fruit with aireation. Quite tannic and still wood to integrate. Very young and although it may be approachable earlier than other vintages, still needs a couple of years.

Flight 6 (1 Note)

  • 2009 Clos Mogador Priorat Nelin 92 Points

    Spain, Catalunya, Priorat

Medium yellow with very nice salmon color (weird, I know). Nice nose with bakery, white and tropical fruit. Very pleasant palate, mid bodied, grassy, creamy, a serious wine. So good now... scary in a few years. Excellent.
