Very tight initially, especially after the open-knit Caillerets. But after some aeration revealed the classic intense nose of toasted minerals. Concentrated, structured and complex. Very satisfying wine, although I'd probably give it a couple more years in the cellar.
Young and vibrant with notes of sweet spice and dark berries. Easily the best village wine I've had. Really lovely wine and admittedly my score might have been slightly biased given it's our first red burgundy wine after a 13-hr flight and 4-hr drive!

A wonderful wine to round off a sensational line-up. Intense wine but more open and floral than the Echezeaux. This will go on for another few decades with ease.
