Lovely aromas of wet stones and sweet perfume. Someone at the table commented that this was just like kissing and smelling the sweet scent of a woman's neck!
Wow - what an amazing wine! Decanted for almost four hours, this was totally sensational! Nose of mint, sweet grass, smoke, black currants and lead pencil. Powerful yet elegant. Easily the best bottle of Lafite 82 I've had - obviously due to its perfect provenance.
