    fresh nose of sweet white peaches. sweet but gooad acid to keep it balanced. honey and apple on the finish.

    nose shows lemons. its really dry and zippy on the palate. none of the ripe pear fruit i was expecting. lemonade and lime peel are the dominant flavors.

    nose: lemons and some light strawberry. palate is loaded with underripe strawberries. lemons. also really tart currants? strange. really austere. needs oysters or something.

    buttered pear and toast on the nose. fruity and bold on the palate. richer than i was expecting. ripe melon flavors and apricot. there's toast on the finish. the acid also comes out on the finish, leaving the palate refreshed. very nice.

    on the nose this champagne shows fresh dough, crossaints and even some baking spices. bold on the palate but really focused. the flavors, mouthfeel acid and minerals are all like a beam on the palate all at once. so crisp, yet rich at the same time. nice minerals on the finish. 90+

    drank on new year's eve at kevin's with salmon in a mustard sauce. nice tropical nose. really creamy, but solid acid to smooth it out. don't know the total blend, but it's got some of that richness that makes me think marsanne, mixed with some green apple that reminds me more of grenache blanc. a real crowd-pleaser.

    New Zealand, South Island, Otago, Central Otago

    nose showed stewed red fruit and hints of tobacco. really smooth on the palate with cranberry, compote and plum flavors. tannins are really light. almost too light. this would've been better three or four years ago but i was curious about an aged new zealand pinot, considering they tend to be lighter in their youth. not bad, but not complex. still interesting.
