Yellow to gold color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of sherry, lemon rind, waxy pears, camphor and a bit of spiciness I can't quite peg. Flavors of lemon, grapefruit, lychee and yellow pears. Medium acidity, medium body. Drink over the next few years. I'd drink now.

Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, fairly clear looking. Nose of mushroom, black olives, forest floor, camphor and a bit of spice. Flavors of berries, cherries and a hint of raspberries. Medium to bright acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold.

Tasted non blind at a wine dinner. Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of berries, cherries and a bit of earth. Rich berry flavors followed by cherries and a bit of strawberry. Bright acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium to full bodied. Can be drank now if you like your Barolo young but I'd recommend holding. No rush here.

Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, fairly clear looking. Nose of dust, melted black licorice, talc, berries and cherries. Really good flavors of berries, cherries and a hint of raspberry. Bright acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold but I'd recommend holding. No rush here.

Bright acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold depending on how you like your Barolo but I'd hold myself.
